What We Do

MFERM Program

“Ever-increasing issues with bedbugs and meth were straining our resources and profits.  This risk management program is the best thing to hit our industry in years.  We can now manage our budget easily and spread costs throughout our portfolio ”

Charlie Raffay – Winterwood Properties

IESO’s Multi-Family Environmental Risk Management (MFERM) was developed to provide property owners and property managers a comprehensive way to manage environmental risks and costs associated with multi-unit dwellings.  This unique patent-pending system includes chemical pest control, heat treatment for bedbugs, Clandestine Meth Lab (CML) and biohazard remediation and indoor air quality investigations.

No other service provider offers this suite of services.  All work is done by a Licensed Pest Control Operator and managed and peer reviewed by PhD professionals.  Clearance reports prepared for each remediation activity meet current or pending state housing requirements.

MFERM coverage allows property owners and managers to spread unexpected environmental costs across their portfolio throughout the year to allow for precise budgeting and cost minimization by paying a fixed fee for services.  IESO is able to provide one-stop-shopping for problems ranging from bedbugs to meth labs to mold, giving the property manager fast, professional relief with a single phone call.

The program is already covering thousands of properties in Kentucky and Indiana, with additional states being added soon.  Download our MFERM brochure for detailed information.

“Making Property Management Manageable”

Healthcare EHS Services

IESO, LLC announces a new OSHA 30-Hour General Industry course customized for healthcare. Many healthcare personnel have noted that the standard 30-hour OSHA course seems to have little in common with their needs.  This healthcare-customized course will familiarize you with applicable OSHA standards while focusing on hazard recognition and prevention.  Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide.  What is unique about this course is that it was designed from the ground up to meet the specific needs of the healthcare industry, and it is currently the first and only one of its kind. It meets all OSHA requirements for time and content, and attendees who successfully pass the course will receive their 30-hour completion card.

Joint Commission accreditation standards reference some OSHA requirements.  However, TJC certification does not insure OSHA compliance.  Healthcare is a covered General Industry sector, and is 100% regulated by OSHA.  While it may be true that historically OSHA paid little attention to healthcare facilities, the current regulatory climate indicates those days are over.  OSHA is actively targeting and citing healthcare facilities for a host of violations ranging from exposure control plans to bloodborne pathogens to mishandling infectious materials.  Lack of training in numerous areas, including emergency preparedness and response, has become a major issue.

We encourage our healthcare clients and web visitors to download and review our course brochure to learn what OSHA expects and how this course can help you prepare.  Check our training schedule at outreachtrainers.org and select “OSHA 30 Hour General Industry for Healthcare” in the QuickSearch menu.
